The Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) for International Students is a program designed by the Malaysian Government for international students coming to pursue higher studies in Malaysia. The MIS scholarship is available in Malaysian Public and Private Universities. Scholarships are categorized as Postgraduate and Post-doctoral Studies. Field of studies are Science and Engineering, Agriculture and Fisheries, Economics and Islamic Finance Information and Communication Technology, Biotechnology, Biosecurity and Food Safety, Infrastructure and Utility, Environmental Studies, Health Science etc.
The University offers the high achiever award for undergraduate courses. To be qualified for this scholarship applicant must have completed Year 12 qualification with 90% or above. The value of the scholarship is RM 5,000/semester, subject to maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
The High Achievers’ Scholarships are available on an automatic basis to all academically-qualified students who are applying for Undergraduate programmes at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. A scholarship equivalent to 25% reduction of the tuition fee is automatically awarded to students and is awarded for only one academic year. The selection is based on academic excellence.
The programme has 10 awards of 100% tuition fee scholarships available for students from the developing countries registering for taught Masters programmes at Malaysia Campus in areas related to science, technology and education. The selection is based on academic excellence and a minimum of full-time 1-year professional experience in a related field after completion of the undergraduate programme is required.
Applicants for all full-time postgraduate taught courses offered in the Arts and Social Sciences Faculty is eligible to apply for this competitive award. This scholarship entitles the applicant to a 25% reduction in their course fees.
Scholarships are available to new international students. The application criteria include academic success, financial need, community involvement, sports excellence, references from instructors or employers. Scholarship value is 10% to 30% reduction in their course fees.
